Mum and Dad set off for Tom Price. For overseas family thats where my brother lives in north Western Australia, about a 10,000km return trip. They took their caravan for a month and a half and we expect them back next week some time.

We had a week in an apartment in Noosa, Queensland. Nice little break from the Melbourne winter.
The apartment was on the hill just next to the National Park. It was a 3 minute walk down to the beach, which was a sheltered cove.

Had some fun fishing. Ben caught quite a few whiting amongst other things
Water temperature was about 20 degrees, so we spent a lot of time in the water.
We were supposed to fly but we had tickets with Tiger airlines, so when the were suspended we ended taking some extra time and drove. One of the benefits was we could visit people on the way. This is Georgia, Annemaries friend from school, who lives in Brisbane
Also visited Ian and family in northern NSW. Thats their house in the background. We were walking through the paddocks they look over. Beautiful spot
