Quick post 2 (edit)

Here is another quick post if anyone is keeping up. We will redo them when we get home and give a bit better description. I am only just getting the hang of hooking up the laptop at a public internet site but don't feel like hanging around too long on the computer there.

Michelle climbing the bicentenial tree. Thats about as far as we let them go. Its actually wet being early morning and at 75 metres it wouldn't be a fun juggle for dad.
Here is another view of the bicentenial tree. The platform you see is less than halfway up, the actual lookout is up in the branches.
We have been managing to stick to national parks for a lot of our stops, they provide beautiful settings and there is no one around. At this site in Cape Naturaliste NP we did some spotlighting and saw bandicoots and a bushytailed phascogale which is a 'rarely seen' small type of possum.

These two shots are in Yalgerup National Park just below Mandurah
The treetop walk near Walpole

Jenna dancing with the bride. Pete & Lees reception was a first for the kids. 'Whens the next one?'

Ben tested out his new gumboots straight away and discovered gumboots don't equal waterproof. Grandpa is giving him a hand here but Dad ended up having to rescus the stuck boot.
We are in Esperance at the moment and about to head out to Cape LeGrand national park for a few days. The weather has been good and bad, we have managed to occupy ourselves with driving or chores when it is bad but there has been plenty of good enough weather to enjoy everything. Its going great.
